My name is André and storytelling is a passion of mine..
My favorite tools are public speaking, marketing and digital content..
Early on, I was inspired by Mister Rogers & The Reading Rainbow’s LeVar Burton. I took a keen interest in poetry, began speaking publicly at age 5, and by age 11 my poetry was published in a national anthology of America's best poets. My unique ability to display emotions and thoughts with my words led my mentors and peers to start calling me "Young Wise". This nickname would later transform into the acronym WYZE, which stands for "With Youthful Zeal & Excellence".
After studying at The Lincoln University in the field of Psychology, I entered into the world of education for 7 years, followed by a career switch to digital media. I bring an educators mind to storytelling and personal development.
For the last 8 years, I have spent my time helping companies, entrepreneurs and communities communicate their brand through content marketing & events. Organizations like NYC’s Department of Transportation, Build NYC, and Black & Brown Founders. I’ve even worked with Gary Vaynerchuck, the Michael Jordan of Marketing.
While achievement and milestones are high on my list, empowering others to heal and achieve will always be my main mission.

My role was to help Build NYC highlight their cohort of teenage entrepreneurs, and to document their fundraising event honoring Gary Vaynerchuck.

My role in this project was to help craft a message to address a new push for Diversity & Inclusion, and open the stage for Daymond John of Shark Tank.
